Volleyball's Harwood Named NAIA All-American
The NAIA announced its All-American volleyball team on Monday and Bethel’s Stephanie Harwood earned third team honors.
Harwood, a senior outside hitter, from Mishawaka, Ind. led the Mid-Central College Conference with 751 kills. Stephanie’s 4.6 kills per game average was the fourth best average in the entire nation.
The two-time NAIA National Player of the Week, Harwood, led the Pilots to a 33-10 record and a second place finish in the Mid-Central College Conference.
“Stephanie deserves this award and we are all very proud of her,” said Bethel Head Volleyball Coach Julia Reininga. “She has meant a great deal to this program over her years at Bethel.”
