Ashley is from Berrien Springs MI where she attended Berrien Spring High School. She earned 3 varsity letters in volleyball, 2 in basketball and track and 1 in cross country. She was captain of the varsity team for 2 years, 1st team All-Conference 2 times and 2nd team once. She played club volleyball for 5 years for Midwest Juniors and USA Michiana Runbirds. Ashley is also a competitive water skier and wake boarder. At Bethel she is majoring in physical education and Health. Ashley had a big freshman season at Bethel College where she played in 139 games and averaged over 10 assists per game. She was also named to the NCCAA Regional Team in her 1st season as a Pilot. Ashley was a huge player her sophomore season setting the Pilots up to win the 2007 NCCAA National Championship. She played in 149 matches, served 97%, averaging over 2 digs per game and 1 block per game. Her junior year was more of the same as Ashley was a huge part of the Pilots 33-10 season. She once again averaged over 10 assists per game and over 2 digs per game. She chose Bethel for there awesome volleyball program and great campus.
