Julia Reininga is entering her 10th season at the helm of the Bethel Volleyball program during this time she has compiled a 232-128 record.  While at Bethel she has lead teams to six NCCAA Regional Championships, seven NCCAA national appearances with two second place finishes and a NCCAA National Championship in 2007.  She has also been named MCC Coach of the Year and NCCAA Regional Coach of the year five times.  And in 2007 she was named the NCCAA National Coach of the Year.  She has coached 16 All-Americans and many All-Conference and Regional Players as well as three NCCAA National Players of the Year.

Julia is a home grown product graduating from Penn High School in 1993 and Bethel College in 1997.  During her career as a Pilot she was a member of two National Championship teams.  She was a two time NCCAA All-American, 4 time MCC 1st Team, 4 time NCCAA All-Region, 3 time NAIA All-Region and the first NAIA ALL- American. Reininga also won the prestigious Ronald Paulson Award along with having her #7 jersey retired while becoming a Hall of Fame Member in 2004.

"I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to work with these young ladies," said Coach Reininga. "I love volleyball and I LOVE Bethel Volleyball!  I am Bethel blue through and through.  Bethel is such a special place; you notice something right when you set foot on campus.  I am excited about this season and I am confident we will work hard and achieve our goals."

Along with coaching Julia teaches in the Physical Education Department and has duties as a home game supervisor.
