NewBethel College Meal Plan Adjustments

Don't forget . . .

The last day to make changes to your meal plan is Monday, January 19th.  If you would like to make a change, please contact the Office of Student Development @ 807-7440.

NewHoliday Food Service Hours of Operation

Holiday Food Service Hours of Operation are as follows:
Dining Commons will close at 6:30pm on Friday, Dec. 19 and will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 6.

Acorn will close at 3:00pm on Friday, Dec. 19 and will reopen on Wednesday, Jan. 7.

Café a la Cart will close at 1:00pm on Friday, Dec. 19 and reopen on Thursday, Jan. 8.

Sufficient Grounds will be open the following hours:

  • Friday, December 19           7:00am-8:00pm
  • Saturday, December 20       8:30am-1:30am
  • Monday, December 22         7:30am-1:00pm
  • Tuesday, December 23        7:30am-1:00pm
  • Monday, December 29         7:30am-1:00pm
  • Tuesday, December 30        7:30am-1:00pm
  • Wednesday, December 31    7:30am-1:00pm
  • Monday, January 5              7:30am-4:00pm
  • Tuesday, January 6             7:30am-4:00pm
  • Wednesday, January 7         Resume regular hours

SPEAKNOEVIL is an attempt to encourage others to speak out against verbal abuse. It has become a major problem in our schools and it is often overlooked.  Senior Billy Villa campaigns against one of the most invisible epidemics in our society today. Come see his exhibit to Silence Verbal Abuse.

Teacher Education Program Applications

Applications to the Teacher Education Program are now available in the School of Education office.  Completed applications are due Jan. 30th, 2009 @ 2:00 pm.

Important Payroll Changes for Students Who Receive Bethel Paychecks

Beginning January 1, we are switching from a semi-monthly payroll to a bi-weekly payroll. 

How will this change affect you? 

December 31 will be the last semi-monthly checks.  January 9 will be the first bi-weekly checks. 

Paydays will be every other Friday beginning January 9.  Any deductions or direct deposits will remain in effect.

Student Clubs, Groups, & Tryouts

NOSE TO TOES -CLOTHING DRIVE

The Bethel Student Nurses' Association will be doing a outerwear clothing drive beginning January 12- January 23. We will be accepting coats, hats, gloves, scarves,boots,and any outerwear clothing. There will be a box set up in the Middleton Science Building starting on January 12th. When you are home over Christmas Break, please remember to clean your closets and bring back your old outerwear or things that don't fit anymore!! Let's help those who are less fortunate than us this winter & let's keep them warm!!! Your help is much appreciated!! Thank you!!!

Bethel College Insurance Plan Available for Second Semester

Just a quick reminder to all new students and transfer students . . .

Forms to purchase the Bethel College Insurance Plan for 2nd semester are now available in theStudent Development Office.    The last day to purchase Bethel College Insurance or to opt out of purchasing Bethel College Insurance is January 30th.   

Please remember to turn in your Emergency Information/BC Insurance Waiver Request  form to the Office of Student Development.
