IAP Managing Editors and HSPA Foundation Journalism Job and Career Fair
The annual Journalism Job and Career Fair of the Indiana Associated Press Managing Editors and the Hoosier State Press Association is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at the Ball State Alumni Center in Muncie, IN.
Editors will conduct 15 minute interviews with journalism students seeking regular employment, internships, or career advice. Information on the 2010 HSPA Foundation Eugene S. Pulliam Internship Program also will be available at the fair.
Students will be able to schedule interviews AFTER DEC. 10, by emailing Phyllis McQueen at pmcqueen@ap.org. Please state requested newspapers and any special scheduling needs and a confirmation will be returned. Interviews will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, seniors will be given preference during the first two weeks of scheduling. When emailing, please state class standing.

Christmas Concert Tickets on Sale now
Start the Christmas season out with a memorable evening by attending the Bethel College Christmas Concert, The Whole World Rejoices.
The concert takes place December 4 & 5 at 7:30 p.m. and December 5 at 2:00 p.m.
The Bethel choral ensembles and chamber orchestra combine to present Christmas music from around the world. Resounding through the auditorium will be music celebrating global diversity and unity in faith. iI our differences we will be reminded that there is one body and one Spirit...one Lord, one baptism, one God and Father of us all.
Tickets for this event are just $5.00 and may be purchased before and after chapel, or from 1-5 p.m.Monday through Friday.
Concert Choir Fall Tour in Michigan

On Sunday morning at 10:45 a.m., November 8, the Concert Choir will perform at Elkton Missionary Church, Elkton, Michigan, as a part of their fall tour. Later that evening they will perform at the Evergreen Missionary Church in Lowell, Michigan at 6:00 p.m.
LEFT OF CENTER AUDITIONS

Auditions for Left of Center the evening 10 minute plays featuring student directors will be held November 3 at 6:00 p.m. in room FA 111. We will need 30-40 actors for these student directed plays. There will be no monologues required it will just be cold readings from the scripts. Come try your hand at acting!!!
Studio Classics Theatre

Tickets are on sale now for the studio classic theatre, Suddenly Last Summer by Tennessee Williams directed by Derrick Null.
The play will take place November 12 - 14 at 7:30 p.m on the Earl Reimer Stage of the Everest Rohrer. Seating is limited to 80 tickets per night so get your tickets early. The cost is just $5 each. Tickets may be purchased at the ticket office Monday - Friday from 1-5 p.m. or by calling the ticket office at 574-807-7080.
String Chamber Orchestra Concert Nov. 3

Share in the language of music by experiencing the Bethel String Chamber Orchestra. The concert will feature repertoires of unusual combinations of instruments as well as featured soloists Dr. Rob Myers, violinist, and Marilynn Ham, pianist. The Tuesday November 3 concert will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Auditorium. No charge.

This is the last week for our Lunch & Learn Series. If you haven't attended any of these, you're really missing out! Our Nursing Students are presenting relevant topics to each of us. Grab a lunch and join us in the Presidents' Room on either Tuesday 11/3 or at 12 Noon to get a glimpse of healthy living. If you need Wellness Points this is an easy way to get 20 fast!

The second of our 4 session Stress/Anxiety Workshop willbe presented this coming Tuesday, 11/3 at 5:00 PM in the Wellness Center Meeting Room. Join us for Pizza and let's figure out how to Counter anxiety in our lives.

Bill Jones, World Partner’s Missionary-in-Residence at Bethel College, will speak on Engaging the Spiritual Realm: Our Authority in Christ. Bill will share about dealing with the demonic in France and then do a foundational Spiritual Warfare 101 teaching.
