Bethel College has hosted an average of 30-40 international students over the years. Students have come from all over the world, including Africa, Latin America, Europe and Asia. And although they come from very diverse backgrounds, they have a common bond of being “rooted in Christ”.
We seek to help them connect with each other and adjust smoothly to campus of various staff members and groups:
There is a one-day orientation for new international students priot to freshman orientation. for Monthly activities are planned to encourage fellowship and our Coordinator is available to oversee all immigration needs and requirements.
Sue Matteson, International Students’ Coordinator, steps in to support and care for Bethel’s international student population. She assists students in orientation, social outings, employment, information regarding status, and the maintenance of immigration records.
