The International Students’ Coordinator will host a one-day orientation for new international students on the Thursday before Freshmen Orientation.
New students will learn what’s expected of them by immigration in maintaining their status. They will meet with representatives from the Business Office and the Wellness Center, who will teach them about handling their student accounts, health records and insurance.
New students need to bring all their documentation (visa, passport, I-20, I-94, I-901 Fee receipt) to this orientation—including their health records.
Breakfast will be served. New students will eat lunch and dinner together in the Dining Commons.
In the evening, students will get off campus to explore the community and shop or participate in a local activity.
