Staff

  • Stephanie Kingma
  • Junior
  • Stephanie has been brave enough to return to the Helm staff for a second year. In addition to this, she has stepped up to the plate and assumed the responsibilities as Editor in Chief. As an English Education major, she is also involved in theatre, choir and the Shekinah Glory dance ministry. Her interests include photography, playing the guitar and just hanging out with people.
  • Hilary Vogel
  • Senior
  • Hilary was draft during the summer of 2011 to help finish up the 2010-11 yearbook. She decided to stay on staff and serves this school year as sports section editor. Her major is exercise science and she works with Bethel athletes.
  • Elizabeth Troup
  • Junior
  • Elizabeth serves as editor of Helm’s Clubs and Groups section. Her major is in psychology and deaf studies. She came to Bethel from Waterloo, Illinois, because of the friendly Christian atmosphere. Besides yearbook, she is also a part of the dance worship team Shekinah Glory, ASL club and psychology club. “I like being on the yearbook because it works your brain and allows you to be creative and allows you to work on your own and with others so you can see which suits you better,” said Elizabeth.
  • Krista Patch
  • Sophomore
  • Krista Patch is a sophomore English, writing major and a member of the Bethel College Cheer team. She graduated from Utica High School in Utica, Michigan where she ran track and was an editor for her school yearbook. Someday she hopes to write for or be an editor at a magazine, but this is only a tentative plan.
