A message from Dr. Dennis Engbrecht,

Welcome to Bethel College. Whether you are driving onto the campus or simply entering the college's web page, you are encountering an institution named for the biblical term meaning “House of God.” The motto for Bethel College is “With Christ at the Helm.” Both the motto and the biblical meaning of Bethel lend clear indication that Bethel College is intentionally, and without apology, a faith based institution. Students who attend Bethel come to grow spiritually, socially, intellectually, and emotionally (Luke 2:52).
The Bethel community offers its students the opportunity to be a part of something that will forever leave an impact on them. The process of achieving a college education while engaging in community with fellow students, faculty, and staff provides a rich growing experience, lifelong friendships, an opportunity for a closer relationship with God, and an academically solid education. Choosing Bethel College, first as a student and later as an administrator, was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
