Service Learning
To equip the whole person for lifelong service.” In accordance with its mission, Bethel College chose to develop the Service Learning Center (SLC) for the start of the 2007-2008 school year. The SLC is an integration of community service events, disaster relief planning, and international task force trips; as well as the platform for curriculum-embedded service. In its first year of existence, the SLC carried out six campus-wide service events, provided disaster relief support in three different communities, and sent five teams to do overseas missions.
