Bethel College’s Service Learning Center exists to promote the integration of service with education. We do this by forming partnerships with local nonprofit organizations to provide opportunities for students to serve those in our community and learn the importance of service as Jesus taught us.

JANUARY
- Saturday, January 21, 2012, 1- 3 PM
The Service Learning Office is facilitating the NEW service opportunity, Port-a-Party on Saturday, January 21st. This event involves groups of Bethel students taking all the necessary supplies to facilitate a party at multiple organizations within the Michiana community. For example, at a local nursing home we will be throwing a Bingo party. If you would like to participate in blessing different organizations within the community, sign up in the DC starting Monday, January 16th – Friday, January 20th. Praise and Pancakes 2011
- Praise and Pancakes: Sunday, February 19, 2012, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Put it on your calendar! Bethel students will cook breakfast and lead a worship service for the residents of Faith Mission, Hope Ministries, and Our Lady of the Road homeless shelters. Sign-ups for this event will be Monday, February 13th – Friday February 17th in the DC. Sign up and minister to the physical and spiritual needs of homeless individuals! Contact the Service Learning Office for more information.
