Assistant Managing Editor – Bethel Beacon

Year: Sophomore

Major: Communication

Concentration: Journalism

Minor: Theatre

Random Fact: I’ve been to Israel, but I’ve never been to the West Coast of the U.S.

About Wes: I’ve actually been at Bethel for three-and-a-half years; I started coming as a REACH student in fall 2012. I live in South Bend, Ind., and I commute from there. I’m a theatre minor and I’m usually involved with a show during the year, either onstage or off. I was homeschooled for all 12 years of primary school. I’ve been writing poetry and short stories since I was 10, but the Beacon is my first foray into media writing. I’m excited to be able to keep the Bethel community up to date on things both on and off campus!
