Student Financial Services
Student financial services is comprised of the financial aid office and the student accounts office. It is our goal to serve the financial needs of students at Bethel College. We provide professional assistance with applications for grants, scholarships and loans, as well as counseling on the best options for financing a Bethel degree.

How We Currently Serve You
Scholarship Programs for Missionary Church Students
Each year Bethel College awards more than $2.0 million dollars in grant and scholarship assistance to students from the Missionary Church. Listed below are some of our programs specifically intended for students from the Missionary Church.
- Missionary Church Scholarship
Awarded to new students who are active in the fellowship of a Missionary Church, the award value is $1,200 per year for on-campus students and $600 for off-campus. Students must submit a letter or reference from their pastor with the application for admission. - Pannabecker Scholarship
This is awarded to freshmen and transfer students declaring a major in the fields of Christian ministry, youth ministry, Biblical literature or international studies ministry. Award value varies and is renewable. A separate application is required. - Missionary Church Pastor’s Dependent Grant
Dependent sons and daughters of full-time Missionary Church pastors or Missionaries are eligible for this scholarship. Students must reside on campus. The award is equal to 1/3 of remaining tuition after other financial assistance is applied. - Church Matching Scholarship
Bethel will match, dollar for dollar, a scholarship provided to you by your church. Award value is up to $1,000 per year for on-campus students and $250 per year for off-campus students. A separate application is required each year and is available from the financial aid office. The deadline for application is June 1. - Missionary Church Quizzing and Youth Conference Awards
Values of annual awards range from $500 to $2,000 for winners of quizzing and talent competitions at Missionary Church district youth events - Graduate Student Discount
Bethel College offers scholarships for up to 1/3 of tuition for pastors enrolling in the Master of Ministry (M.Min.) or Master of Theology (M.Mats.) programs.
Awarding policy – all Bethel scholarships are at the discretion of the financial aid office and eligibility and award values may be impacted by other financial assistance resources.
