Who is the program for?

  • Individuals who hold a current teaching license who wish to receive an Indiana K-12 Building Level Administrator license.
  • Individuals who have a minimum of two years of successful teaching experience (does not include long-term substitute teaching).
  • Individuals who have completed a master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • If you don't have a master's degree, we offer the Master of Education in School Administration.
  • Individuals who maintained a GPA of 2.75 for all college work.

Program structure

  • Online courses offered in a 7-week format with six 7-week sessions per year

  • The program consists of 20 credit hours which leads to the Indiana K-12 Building Level Administrator License after passing the Indiana CORE

Program Option

  • The 20 credits earned in the School Administration Licensure Program can count toward a 36 credit Master of Education Degree.

Admission Requirements

    • Two Professional References needed for application

  • Copy of teaching license

Once all materials have received, an interview with the Director of Education will be scheduled.

*Autobiographical Statement Description: At least 300 words including information on yourself, your recent work in education and reasons for seeking Bethel’s School Administration Licensure program. Include any significant events in your career that have played key roles in your development. Define your character in terms of basic values, commitment to graduate studies, philosophy, and worldview.

The 20 credits earned in the School Administration Licensure Program can count toward a 36 credit Master of Education Degree.

 Internships The Internship in School Administration requires 220 hours to be completed in two semesters. The hours must be done at two levels: elementary, middle, or high school.

Tuition/Fees

  • Tuition - $385 per credit hour
  • Service Assessment Fee per Semester
    • Full-time - $150 (9 or more credits per semester is full-time)
    • Part-time - $125
