Masters of Business Administration Questions

  1. Who is the program for?

    • Individuals with a bachelor’s degree in any field who wish to pursue the knowledge, skills, and tools of contemporary business best practices in areas such as management, accounting, marketing, economics, leadership and human relations.
    • Candidates who have at least two years of appropriate work experience – as determined by the program director.
    • Candidates with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher for all previous undergraduate work combined.
    • Candidates who have satisfactorily completed an undergraduate course in accounting and college-level mathematics.
  2. How is the MBA program structured?

    • 36 credit hours
    • All classes are offered online and in the traditional classroom setting.
    • The entire program can be completed in one year by taking two classes at a time, or within two years by taking one class at a time.
    • All classes are 7-weeks in length.
    • In-class sessions are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-10pm on the Mishawaka campus; Online classes run from Sunday through Saturday.
    • Students can begin at any time throughout the year –there are no classes requiring a specific requisite other than those required for admission to the program.
  3. What are the steps for admission?

    • Complete a formal application form online or at Adult & Graduate Studies office.
    • Submit official transcripts from all colleges attended.
    • Submit GMAT scores if requested by the program director.
    • Complete financial aid application, the FAFSA, if using financial aid.
    • Candidates whose native language is not English must achieve a TOEFL score of 540 or higher (paper version) or 207 or higher (computer version).
