Bethel College and Kelly Cares Foundation Dedicate Paqui and Brian Kelly Auditorium

Bethel College and the Kelly Cares Foundation will dedicate the Paqui and Brian Kelly Auditorium Thursday, June 21 at 1 p.m., at Bethel College, with a reception to follow. Renovations to the auditorium, Bethel’s largest lecture hall, were made possible by a gift from the Kelly Cares Foundation.

Terrell L. Elam Named Vice President for Enrollment Management at Bethel College

Terrell Elam, Ph.D., has been named Vice President for Enrollment Management at Bethel College. Elam most recently served as Dean of Admissions for Liberty University, the largest nonprofit Christian university in the United States. He will lead Bethel teams in Traditional Admissions, Adult & Graduate Studies Admissions, Financial Aid and Enrollment Marketing.

Bethel College and the Missionary Church USA Announce New Partnership

Bethel College and the Missionary Church USA announce the creation of a living endowment to fund a professor in the denomination’s name at Bethel College. The Missionary Church Endowed Professor of Biblical Theology was created to address the critical importance of comprehensive and Biblically-faithful theological academic training for future pastors and church leaders.

Bethel to Host Give Back Gala with Keynote Speaker Lee Strobel as part of the Bethel College Day of Giving

As part of the Bethel College Day of Giving, Bethel will host a Give Back Gala May 12 in the Wiekamp Athletic Center on campus. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event begins as 6 p.m. Keynote speaker Lee Strobel, New York Times best-selling author of “The Case for Christ,” will share the message “For Such a Time as This: Standing Up for Biblical Values.” The purpose of the event, which includes dinner, is to raise money for Bethel’s General Scholarship Fund, which supports student scholarships and areas of greatest need.

Bethel College’s 71st Commencement Set for May 5, Editor of Christianity Today to Speak

This year, more than 425 students plan to participate in Bethel College’s two commencement ceremonies, which will be held Saturday, May 5, in the Wiekamp Athletic Center on Bethel’s campus. The 10 a.m. commencement includes adult programs, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) completion and graduate programs. The 5 p.m. commencement includes all traditional undergraduate programs, Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). The speaker for both ceremonies will be Katelyn Beaty, an editor-at-large with Christianity Today.

The Bethel College Music Department Presents its Spring Instrumental Concerts

The Bethel College Chamber Orchestra and Wind Ensemble will perform Thursday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m., in the Everest-Rohrer Auditorium on Bethel’s campus. The Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo will perform Friday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m., also in the Everest-Rohrer Auditorium. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Bethel to Host FREE Viewing of “The Case for Christ” Movie

Bethel College will host a FREE viewing of “The Case for Christ” movie, based on the life of New York Times best-selling author Lee Strobel, Saturday, April 14, in the Everest-Rohrer Auditorium on Bethel’s campus. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the movie will begin at 6 p.m. Complimentary popcorn will be provided and guests will have the chance to win one of four tickets to an exclusive Meet and Greet with Strobel, when he visits campus May 12.
