The Bethel College Bookstore and Bethel's Student Council will be sponsoring a food drive November 5-6 and 8-13, 2004. All perishable and nonperishable food items collected will be donated to the Mishawaka Alliance of Care (M.A.C) Food Pantry, housed in the Albright United Methodist Church. Supported by business and civic organizations along with 17 local churches, the food pantry served 2,675 households last year and needs help to restock its supply. The M.A.C. Food Pantry assists residents of Mishawaka, Granger and Osceola. Persons who donate nonperishable items at the Bethel Bookstore will receive a discount coupon to be used at the bookstore. A percentage of every purchase will be donated to the food pantry. Perishable donations may be taken directly to the food pantry during their operating hours on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday mornings from 10:00-noon. Nonperishable food items may be dropped off at the Bethel College Bookstore during their hours of operation: M-F from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
