Bethel Listed Second of Top Ten Christian Colleges

Bethel College was recently listed second in a top ten list of Christian colleges. In an article written by Kelli Mahoney, listed on, Bethel ranked second, following Wheaton College in Illinois.

Mahoney said, "An evangelical Christian college affiliated with the Missionary Church, Bethel is located in Mishawaka, Indiana. Bethel offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs. Bethel has received recognition for its quality programs from a number of other organizations as well. For the sixth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report Guide to America's Best Colleges has ranked Bethel in the top tier of all Midwestern Comprehensive Colleges that offer bachelor's degrees. Bethel has also been named to the Templeton Guide's Honor Roll of top 100 schools for its commitment to integrating character development into the undergraduate experience.

Bethel College is an accredited Christian college of the arts and sciences offering associates, bachelor's and master's degrees in more than 50 areas of study. The current enrollment of more than 2,000 includes students from 34 states and Puerto Rico, 12 countries, more than 25 denominations and 16 percent from culturally diverse backgrounds. Scholarships are available based upon a variety of factors including academic achievement, talent in the arts or athletics, ethnicity and church affiliation. Bethel offers classes at four locations: the Mishawaka campus, the Elkhart Campus and two satellite locations (in Nappanee and in Dowagiac, Mich.).
