Bethel to Host U.S. Soccer Federation Youth Modules

Bethel College will host the United States Soccer Federation Youth Module 1 and Youth Module 2 offered through the Indiana Youth Soccer Association. The courses will be combined into a 2.5 hour instructional field class on Saturday, August 30th at the Bethel varsity soccer field. Vince Ganzberg, IYSA coaching director, will be conducting the course.

Content of youth modules is the same as the U.S. Youth Soccer National Youth License and is age specific. The course duration is approximately three hours.

The Youth Module 1 focuses on the U6 and U8 age groups.
The Youth Module 2 focuses on the U10 and U12 age groups.

Focus of youth modules is the parent coach that has little or no experience in the game of soccer. The course offers "hands on" activities as well as covering characteristics of children, philosophy, organizing a lesson plan, care and prevention, and risk management, Bethel College will also be hosting the USSF E license on October 17-19 on the college campus.
