Bethel Brings Encouragement to Local Youth by Combining Annual Events

Bethel College, in partnership with local churches, is combining two national youth outreach events — “See You at the Pole” and “Fields of Faith” — on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. in Goodman Gymnasium. High school and junior high youth are encouraged to attend.

The purpose of the combined event is to make kids aware of “See You at the Pole” and to encourage them to participate in prayer at their school’s flag the following week. It is also to encourage students to engage in the basic disciplines of reading the Bible and prayer.

During the evening, Bethel students will give their testimonies as an encouragement for the local youth. For more information, call Allen Wagler at 574. 807.7358.

The national “See you at the Pole” date is slated for Sept. 23. Students will gather around their flag to pray for their school, their community and their country. The national “Fields of Faith” outreach is scheduled for Oct. 14. To find more information about these events visit, and
