The Bethel College Chamber Orchestra and Wind Ensemble will perform their Fall Concert on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center-Auditorium on Bethel’s campus, 1001 Bethel Circle, Mishawaka, Ind.
The concert will open with the Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Vicky Warkentien, D.M.M., and will feature a side-by-side performance with the Penn High School Orchestra, directed by Anne Tschetter. Repertoire will include “Jupiter” from The Planets by Gustav Holst, John Williams’ Raiders March from the film Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Finlandia by Jean Sibelius, which will be joined by the combined choirs of Clay Church and Bethel College. The Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Mike Kendall, Ph.D., will perform a number of works including Robert W. Smith’s Inchon and Arabesque by Samuel Hazo.
