Bethel College Ranked No. 2 on Washington Monthly’s “Best Bang for the Buck – Midwest” List

Washington Monthly has ranked Bethel College No. 2 of 364 colleges in the Midwest on its 2017 list of the “Best Bang for the Buck Colleges.” Bethel jumped four spots from the 2016 list and is the only Indiana college to make this year’s top 15.

Bethel College Master’s Programs Ranked No. 44 in the Nation

Washington Monthly has ranked Bethel College No. 44 of 632 national colleges and universities on Washington Monthly’s 2017 list of “Top Master’s Universities.” Bethel jumped four spots from the 2016 list and is one of only two Indiana schools in the top 100.

Bethel College presents “Operatic Irregulars,” including the world’s shortest opera

Bethel College will present “Operatic Irregulars,” a performance filled with fast-paced comedy, on Sept. 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center – Auditorium, 1001 Bethel Circle, Mishawaka, Ind. Admission is free.

Spring 2017 Dean's List

Bethel College announces the 2017 Spring Semester Dean’s List. Eligibility for the Dean’s List requires a 3.50 GPA with 12 or more semester hours.

Cummins Named Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Bethel College

Rich Cummins, CFRE, has been named vice president for institutional advancement at Bethel College. He most recently served as the executive vice president at The Rescue Mission in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he doubled the annual fund value and managed a capital campaign of similar scale to Bethel’s GREATer agenda. Cummins, who will begin at Bethel on August 7, will lead the team for Bethel’s fundraising, communications and alumni services.

Free Leadership Event for High School Students

Bethel College will be a host site for high school students to attend the nationally simulcast leadership event, Lead USA. The event will be Fri., May 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center – Auditorium. Admission is free, and lunch can be purchased for $5 at the door.

Tyler Begins as Bethel College Director of Admissions

Bethel College is pleased to announce Jill Tyler as the new Director of Admissions for the traditional admissions office. Tyler will oversee all traditional admissions recruitment efforts and began in her role on May 1.

Local Colleges Host Information Day for Hispanic Students

On Tues., May 9, Bethel College will host Hispanic Day for local Hispanic high school students. The event is a partnership between Bethel and Ancilla College, Goshen College, Holy Cross College, Indiana University South Bend, Ivy Tech College, and Saint Mary’s College.

Grissom Middle School Students Showcase Art at Bethel College

Students from Grissom Middle School will be exhibiting their artwork in the Great Hall of the Bethel College Weaver Art Gallery.

Registration Open for Kindergarten Lab at Bethel College

The Bethel College kindergarten lab (LabK), a partnership between the college and School City of Mishawaka (SCM), is accepting registrations for the 2017-18 school year. This is a tuition-free public school program and is open to kindergarteners from any Indiana school district.
