Lightfoot Becomes All-Time Winningest Coach for Indiana Colleges

After Tuesday night's overtime win against Huntington University Bethel College men's basketball coach Mike Lightfoot achieved yet another historical milestone becoming the all-time winningest head coach at a four-year Indiana college with 735 career wins.

Bethel Recognizes GREAT Employees

The College Compare website released rankings for 2014 listing Bethel College in the top 10 of all Indiana colleges and universities for five areas of study – religious studies (No. 3), legal (No. 3), athletics (No. 4), human biology (No. 9), and medicine (No. 9).

Employer registration open for the Bethel College career and internship fair

Employer registration is now open for the Bethel College career and internship fair, to be held Thursday, Feb. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Wiekamp Athletic Center on Bethel’s campus. Registration is free and open to employers seeking to fill internships and salaried positions.

Bethel publications receive Gold MarCom awards

Bethel College has been awarded two Gold MarCom awards – one for its alumni magazine and one for a collection of admission materials that includes the college’s view book, visit brochure and general information brochure. More than 6,500 entries were submitted worldwide and only twenty percent of the entries were recognized with a Gold award.

New major at Bethel addresses changing landscape of church worship

Bethel College announces a new worship arts major and minor, set to begin in the fall of 2015. The program, uniquely designed so students can tailor it to their interests, will address the changing landscape of church worship and prepare graduates to lead in a variety of worship settings.

Ricardo Carvalho Named NCCAA Men's Soccer Player of the Year

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has announced that Bethel's Ricardo Carvalho has been named the 2014 NCCAA Player of the Year. In addition, Carvalho also makes his first appearance as an NCCAA First Team All-American having been named to the second-team in 2013 and honorable mention in 2012. Teammates Lukas Muszong and Pedro Amaral both were named as NCCAA Second Team All-Americans for their performance during the 2014 season.

Bethel brings back Master of Arts in Counseling program

Bethel College is enrolling students for the Master of Arts in Counseling program, set to begin in the fall of 2015. The program, previously offered at Bethel in the 1990s and early 2000s, has been frequently requested by alumni of Bethel’s undergraduate programs.
