Orientation (Welcome Week) is an opportunity for all new students to prepare for life at Bethel before classes begin. It starts with new student move-in and a picnic around Bethel’s Reflection Pond at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18. (See schedule below for additional details.)
During this time you will connect with the campus community and spend time with our First Year Experience (FYE) block, a group of 20-30 other students you’ll take two general education classes with during your first semester. Transfer students are a part of an FYE group that meets during welcome week and at various times during the first semester.
Please plan to attend a series of new student orientation activities held before classes begin. All new students are expected to participate in the week.
